Other info & FAQ:
pH balanced to the same pH as the acid mantle of the skin. Therefore very compatible with the skin and does not disturb the natural pH balance of the skin.
Suggested storage: preferably keep refrigerated at all times at 8 C, alternatively store in a cool dark place below 25 C (such as a cupboard).
Proteins denature when exposed to heat, just as an egg will cook in the hot sun.
Recommended shelf life: Because of the high concentration of protein and low concentration of preservative, we recommend that the Serum product is used within 6 months for best effectiveness.
Directions for usage:
Apply to cleansed and dried skin. Use normal cleansing product and rinse with tepid water. Pat dry lightly.
If exfoliating or using a mask, remove this first and pat skin dry. Then apply Serum.
Do not rub into skin. Smooth a thin layer gently over skin, pressing into skin lightly. Allow to be absorbed into skin.
Apply to entire face area, neck and décolletage.
Avoid eye area and do not apply close to eyes (as eyes may burn in some cases)
Apply suitable moisturiser or sun block product over Serum.
Use twice daily for best results. Apply morning and evening.
For ultra sensitive skins:
Start off using Serum on alternative days for a week. Then use daily. Stop using if skin burns or goes red.
For Oily skins:
This Serum may be used alone during the day. Apply moisturiser for oily skin at night after using Serum as directed.

Q: Why does the collagen work so well?
A: Because it is in very high concentrations of 70 % (99% Purity)- the highest concentration of collagen to our knowledge anywhere in the world. Collagen is found naturally in the skin, but as we age it diminishes. Therefore by using collagen in our serum on the skin, you are helping the skin with the functions collagen normally display of super hydration.
Q: Why does the product even have skin lightening effects?
A: Because the Raw Collagen is made up in a fruit acid base which has skin lightening properties.
Q:I noticed the collagen serum has even made my acne spot better after only 10 applications?
A: Again, the combination of fruit acids and collagen work together synergistically to help the skin heal itself and leave the skin soft & supple. With prolonged use, the scarring will disappear.
Q; Why are there not other ingredient in the serum like antioxidants, vitamins etc
A: Because we would have to reduce the concentration of collagen if we had to add other ingredients. Other ingredients may not be compatible with such a high concentration of collagen. Remember most other companies that make claims of collagen would typically use collagen in their product at 1 % and in most generous cases 5 % maximum because Collagen is a very expensive ingredient.
Q;How do we use the serum if we have extremely sensitive skin types?
A: If you have never used a fruit acid product before, it is advisible to start using the serum every alternative day for the first week to get the skin used to the fruit acids. You may experience a slight tingling as well, this is perfectly normal and will stop after a few applications. Then start applying once a day for the next week and build up to twice daily.
Q;When is it best to use the serum?
A: Always after bathing and cleansing the face & neck area. It can be applied morning and evening.
Q; Can I use other products with the serum.
A: Yes, definitely. Apply your normal moisturiser directly after the serum has been absorbed by the skin.
Q: Where do I apply the serum?
A: Spread a thin layer evenly over the entire face area. Dont forget the neck and decolletage! Avoid applying too close to the eye area as the fruit acids may cause the eyes to sting if rubbed. Pat it in lightly AROUND the eye area, on the cheek bones around the eye and above the eye brow.
Q: How much do I need to apply?
A: Remember it is very concentrated so a little goes a long way. However, it would depend on each person's skin individually how much is right for you. If the skin is very dry and dehydrated, you may have to start off with using more until the skin starts improving (after a few short weeks of regular use).
